Buying Website Traffic to Increase Organic Traffic to Your Business Website

If you own a business website, then you may know the fact that it is so important to get more traffic to your website in order to succeed in the online market place. There is no point in having an excellent website if you don’t show up on the first page of the search engines results against relevant searches.

It is a fact that the most effective traffic to your web pages come from the external links of other relevant websites, which is not easy to get. A good website traffic service provider will help you gain more traffic more external links like other sites, social media, and search engines.  It is possible that you can get traffic to your website from different places in many ways.

However, all these are not genuine and also all these may not add value to your SEO. Further, we will discuss how organic traffic generation will help you to enhance your business website SEO performance.

  1. Making your site consistent

The new website owners may have noticed an interesting fact that their website is not getting a significant count of visits consistently. Sometimes, there may be hundreds of visitors in a short span of time, but some other times the flow is too feeble. In such cases, if you buy website traffic from a reliable provider, you can be reassured about the rest in terms of getting a consistent number of visitors to your website each day.

  • Help deliver the targeted group of visitors

To increase website traffic and get its benefit, you may ideally opt for the professional website traffic providers who can adopt strategies to deliver you the most targeted traffic. While doing it, keep in mind that you need to help the website traffic provider to identify who your best target audience is and what type of visitors you want to get the most. Developing a targeted website and getting the most focused traffic will help lower the bounce rates and also increase the search engine value of your website.

  • Help improve the SEO

Search engine optimization for SEO is not all about finding the right keywords. Popular search engines like Google and Bing use different indicators to determine the relevance of your website and website traffic is one of them. If they notice that your website is visited by a significant number of people on a regular basis they will definitely rank your website higher in the search engine results.

The most vital benefit of buying website traffic is buying more chances to increase the overall sales as more people naturally tend to click on the opportunities you put on your sales pages to convert the traffic into sales so look this out from where you can buy website traffic which will help to boost your SERP and Organic Traffic.

In this article we are learning how to use icon fonts in a HTML design with a few simple steps. Follow our blog for more icon tips & tricks. Icon fonts are quickly becoming a web design trend and there is a good reason for that. Creating icons with icon font gives html designers the ability to manipulate the icon with CSS. The days of creating two different icon images for rollovers or effects are long gone. Now we can easily change color, size and even animate the font icons just as we would use other HTML elements.

How to use Icon Fonts in a HTML Design

use icon fonts

So let go over how to implement font icon your HTML. Let’s learn how to use icon fonts;

Step 1: Load the font Via font-face

This is the same process as loading any other font using the @font face method. You are simply giving the font name to be used throughout the stylesheet and specifying the correct location of the font files.

Step 2: Create CSS rules That apply to every Icon

Now that we are loading the font into our HTML, we can start to define some other rules which will impact how our font look. We will use pseudo class: before because we do not want the markup to be in our HTML code. Name the main icon class something generic and straight forward, like icon.

Explanation for each of these CSS properties and their values

  • Font-family- We are simply specifying what font to use
  • Webkit-font-smoothing- using ant aliased value for font smoothing will make the icons looks smoother, especially on darker backgrounds.
  • o-transform- Using scale(1) ensure us that the icon will be sized appropriately.
  • Test-rendering – We use optimize legibility when we want to enable more advance font features, like ligatures and more accurate kerning

Step 3: Create Specific  font Icon Classes

This is the fun part. We are going to define all font icon classes and which characters they will use. We are given the HEX values of each character in the demo CSS file provided, you just have to specify them in our stylesheet.

Step 4: HTML Mark-up

Thankfully, there is not much HTML mark up. We are simply going to use an HTML element such as span add appropriate class to it.

Example usage;

<span class=’icon facebook’> Like us on facebook(/span>

And now the icon should be showing up

Step 5: Customize your Font icons

Now you can start having more fun with these icons. For example, if you wanted to change color or size of the icon, you could just specify color or font size in the main icon class. If you need multiple colors or sizes, you could simply have multiple SSS classes as shown below.

Icon-green:before {color: #008000;}
Icon-red:before{color: #ff0000;}
Icon-blue-before {color: #0000ff;}
Icon – yellow : before { color : #ffff00;}
Icon-12: before {font- size: 12px; margin –right: 3px;}
Icon-24: before {font-size: 24px, margin-right: 6px;}
Icon – 36: before {font- size: 36px; margin-right:9px;}
Icon- 48: before {font –size: 48px; margin- right; 12px;}

You know which software ideal for icon design? “Photoshop” has gone beyond being merely a brand name to become regular household word. It was originally created as tool for photographer to edit and manage their photos and for many people, this remain its primary use.

Adobe illustrator is a standard vector graphics editor and was primarily created for icon areas of graphic design. Illustrator is now seen as a tool for both graphics designers and digital artist to create many different types of digital product. Both are now part of Adobe’s powerful creative cloud suite.

icon design

Photoshop and illustrator compared, both expose nearly the same possibilities to create icons except that illustrator uses a vector based system. In which situation is which product more reasonable and when should I prefer illustrator over Photoshop or vice versa?

But which is better for icon design? Illustrator

Using illustrator means your icon will be a vector object which is not part of a bitmap While both program can create logo, you need to think about maintainability and uses of your icon. While its initial size may be predefined icon need to be resized and reshaped according as it’s likely to be used in many times on many different materials.

A bitmap graphic created in Photoshop cannot be resized without pixilation or loss of quality. With that in mind , using illustrator means your icon will be a vector object which is not part of a bitmap. Meaning it can be reshaped and resized while retaining all if its quality.

Illustrator can provide many advantages that Photoshop cannot. Firstly, Using illustrator here makes the job a lot faster- there is the obvious resizing points. Illustrator is also great for creating reusable component. Using the symbols panel in illustrator, you can create a library of icon and form element that can be reused and manipulated many times over.

In this article I’ll teach you how to find world’s best icon designer on the web if you are looking a professional designer for your personal or commercial work. Icon design refers to the planning and projection of visual communication through the use of imagery, words, space, typography and color. Icon design is a critical element in the process of communication or product design and creation. While technically Icon design is a subset of communication design, strong synergies exist between the skills required for each discipline. Hence the terminology is often used interchangeably.

icon designer

Frequently a company is critiqued based on its visual presence, often in advance of any business interaction. Icon designers play a pivotal role in engendering respect and driving key business outcomes as they conceptualize and produce artwork or designs to enhance the transfer of visual messages and information.

The application of Icon design is extensive and can encompass the following areas:

  • Simple icons or complex brand identities;
  • Publications both printed and digitalized;
  • Promotional advertising such as posters, billboards or digital banners;
  • Entire website designs or individual graphical elements;
  • Product design, packaging and more.

Skills that are central to a successful Icon designer include:

  • First class knowledge of design technology
  • Creativity
  • Judgement
  • Analytical thinking
  • Industry experience
  • The ability to effectively interpret and deliver against a brief.

An operator simply following given instructions to implement a visual outcome is not considered a designer. A quality graphical expert should add incremental value to the creative process and production of effective visual communications, through increased sales, enhanced visual storytelling or eye-catching and memorable branding.

Many Icon designer readily use traditional design methods such as sketches to explore creative territories or to garner client approval whilst minimizing time investment. Nevertheless, modern design experts are accomplished in a range of software applications, most of which hail from the Adobe Systems suite of products. Adobe Photoshop is a popular choice of photo editing software leveraged by a vast segment of designers. For the creation of vector-based drawings, Adobe Illustrator is a favored choice, and during the final stages of Icon production, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator is one of a number of page layout programs available. It is essential any icon designer you employ is well versed in several of these design technologies.

Engaging a high-caliber icon designer that is smart, creative and responsive is hands-down one of the most important decisions your business will make. A top class designer will ensure your brand, communications or products stand out from the crowd, clearly articulating messaging and imploring your audience to take action.

Many sites currently add a favicon before launch that is visible in your user’s browser tabs and bookmarks, but lots of sites are still missing icons for iOS. By adding an iOS icon, anyone who decides to save your webpage to the home screen of their iPhone, iPad, or Android* will see a nice app-like icon rather than an image of your page.

mobile favicon

The first step is creating an image. To support the newest high resolution iPhone and iPad you’ll want to create several different sized images (The device will take the nearest size larger than it’s default size if you don’t have them all). You can save your images as PNGs to any directory on your site.

With the icons on older iOS versions you had to determine if you were going to use apple-touch-icon-precomposed vs letting apple apply some effects to your icon. That is no longer a concern with iOS 7. You’ll just need to create a square icon and it will round the edges for you.

What is size favicon for mobile devices?

Here is a table of the current iOS icon sizes from Apple (this has been updated for iOS 7 icon sizes):

  • Classic iPhone / iPod : 57×57
  • iPad : 76×76
  • iPhone / iPod Retina : 120×120
  • iPad Retina : 152×152
  • iPhone 6 Plus : 180×180

For Android icons you’ll want to follow these specifications:

  • Android Regular : 128×128
  • Android Hi-Res : 192×192

Next you’ll just add a simple bit of code to the HEAD of your site so the devices can find your images (iOS will find these automatically if they are in your site’s root directory and named this way, but it’s recommended to include it). Android uses the two icons with rel=”icon” and apple uses the ones prefixed with “apple-“:

If you don’t want to create all these images, you should at least create the larger resolution ones. That way they’ll look good on the hi-res devices. The older devices will load the closest size available to their required size and shrink them down (this works but isn’t ideal if you want complete control and the fastest download).

How to create app / mobile device favicons?

If you’re creating your iOS icon image you can find templates for use around the web; here’s a couple good ones: appicontemplate.com for ios7 and iOS7 icon template for photoshop & sketch that cover all the sizes. And here is a free source: iconifier.net Note that you’ll only need some of the icons represented in these templates unless you’re releasing an app in the App Store.

What does a Favicon do?

It sits somewhere in the website quietly. A modern browser shows the favorite icon next to the website URL which you type in the address bar field.

How does a favicon help?

Often a majority of designers consider Favorites icon as a part of the template design process instead of ignoring the favicon as an unimportant part. If integrated successfully into the website it can simply enhance the visibility of the website in a multi-tabbed browsing environment and user could easily distinguish the tab representing various sites in use at that point of time.

Do I need a favicon?

If your website uses a specific color theme, a logo or an industry specific content  then why not use a favicon. Maybe it will add to the professional outlook of your website. Well also many of the content writer ignore basic color theme of the websites and also a whole bunch of keywords are dumped on the user saying that I don’t care for images as the search engines can’t read images. But it is you and I, also a lot of human who actually want to see neatly presented content with images, icons ,clip art and of course a favicon. Also you can search our free icons page for PSD icon styles. PSD icons will help you to create favorite icons for your web pages.

Usually a Favorites icon is coupled with webpages, it can be installed in a website by various means. Even though if a favicon is not integrated by the template designer or your website designer if you can access the server, the Favorites icon icon can be put on the server into the same directory as the webpages. There might be some help page depending on which software system or CMS.

SVG icon is an image format for vector graphics. It literally means Scalable Vector Graphics. Basically, what you work with in Adobe Illustrator. You can use SVG on the web pretty easily, but there is plenty you should know. You can create one image and scale it to a plethora of different size for retina devices, 2x retina devices, or even small screen like older Blackberry’s.

svg icon

One thing to remember is that SVG is a vector format so you cannot use it for photos. You will have to use some other techniques for all your beautiful full screen photos.

Here are few of the major benefits of SVG’s

  • SVG images are actually written in xml. This means you can manipulate images directly in your code editor (that is, if you take the time to learn the language) This gives you ton of power to do complex manipulation and animation that are not possible with standard raster- based images.
  • SVG images are accessible with client – side scripts. This mean you can manipulate certain parts of the images with Java script.
  • SVG’s are polychromatic, so you can have multiple colors in your design. This is where SVG’s really shine over icon fonts.

Video Tutorial – How to Create SVG Icons

In below video tutorial, you can learn how to create SVG icons or SVG images in Adobe Illustrator software. Please subscribe the video owner for more videos like this. Check below;

How to use use SVG files

There are different ways you can work with SVGs, depending on the use case:

  1. Inline SVG: This is where you take the content of the SVG file and include it directly in your markup. This method is straightforward, and lets you directly target each shape within the SVG with CSS.
  2. SVG Sprites: If I will be using a set of icons across multiple pages, I instead use an SVG sprite. This method work allows you to include an SVG by referencing its ID, and makes it easy to change an icon and have those changes reflected instantly across a site ( So long as the ID remain the same).

How to use an Inline SVG

Open the SVG file in your text editor of choice, and then literally copy and paste the content from the file into your markup.

<svg>...</svg>

How to create an SVG Sprite

Includes an SVG sprite generator. Simply drop all your SVG file in to the SVG folder, run my build and it generates a sprite for me. Super easy to add and remove icon. However, this approach require comfort working with command line, and if you are not there IcoMoon, the fantastic icon font generator, also now lets you easily create SVG sprites.

How to use an SVG Sprite

Add the contents of your sprite to the markup in a hidden computer.

<div hidden>
<svg>………</svg>
